Essy beef Tacos Recipe

– 1 lb (450g) ground beef – 1 small onion, chopped – 2 cloves garlic, minced – 1 packet of taco seasoning (or use a mix of cumin, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder) – Salt and pepper to taste – 1/4 cup water

For the filling:

– Soft or hard taco shells – Shredded lettuce – Diced tomatoes – Grated cheddar cheese – Sour cream – Salsa or pico de gallo

For assembling:

1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until it's browned, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for a few minutes until the onion is softened. 3. Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the beef mixture. If you're using individual spices, add cumin, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix everything well. 4. Pour in the water and stir. Allow the mixture to simmer for a few minutes until the flavors combine and the liquid reduces. 5. Taste the beef mixture and season with salt and pepper as needed. 6. While the beef is cooking, warm your taco shells according to the package instructions. This is usually done by placing them in the oven or microwave for a short time.

1. To assemble the tacos, spoon the beef mixture into each taco shell. 2. Top the beef with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and grated cheddar cheese. 3. Add a dollop of sour cream and a spoonful of salsa or pico de gallo on top. 4. You can also add additional toppings like sliced jalapeños or chopped cilantro if desired. 5. Serve the beef tacos immediately while they're still warm. 6. Enjoy your quick and delicious beef tacos!
